Hi friends! We’re Kristi and Mary—a mother/daughter team from a small town in North Georgia—and we’re so glad you’re here.

A Young Tradition is just an extension of who we are as a family. We love holidays and the way a single tradition, big or small, can turn into a memory that lasts for years. We love hosting and making people feel welcome, even if it’s just around our own kitchen tables. We love thrifting and finding beauty in things that have a little history, a little quirk, or a little story to tell.

You’ll see plenty of crafts, decorating, and party ideas here, but more than that, we want this space to feel like sitting down with friends—sharing recipes, swapping ideas, and encouraging each other to celebrate everyday life. Some projects will be simple, some might be over the top, but all of them come from the same place: a love of family, tradition, and creating joy right where you are.
